Is a prescription required for the Bayer Savings Card program?
Yes. The Bayer Savings Card is for use ONLY with a valid prescription for select Bayer products.
What Bayer prescription products can the card be used for?
The Bayer Savings Card can be used for:
- Natazia® (estradiol valerate and estradiol valerate/dienogest) 3 mg, 1 mg tablets and 2 mg/2 mg, 2 mg/3 mg tablets
- Climara Pro® (estradiol/levonorgestrel transdermal system) 0.045 mg/day, 0.015 mg/day
- Lampit® (nifurtimox) 30 mg tablets and 120mg tablets
What is the Bayer Savings Card offer*?

- Covered insured patients: Pay as little as $0 up to a maximum savings of $125 per month
- All other patients without insurance: Up to $75 off each month
Climara Pro® (estradiol/levonorgestrel transdermal system) 0.045 mg/day, 0.015 mg/day
- Covered insured patients: Pay as little as $25, up to a maximum savings of $50 per month
- All other patients without insurance: Up to $75 off each Climara Pro prescription
Lampit® (nifurtimox) 30 mg tablets and 120mg tablets
- Covered insured patients: Pay as little as $0 up to a maximum savings of $1000 per year

Is it necessary to activate the Bayer Savings Card before it is used at the Pharmacy?
Yes. In order to use the card, activation is required and can be completed online.
How can a patient get the Bayer Savings Card?
A patient can get the Bayer Savings Card from their healthcare provider or online. When downloading a card online, be sure to have a printer available.
Where is the Bayer Savings Card accepted?
It is accepted at participating retail pharmacies and specialty pharmacies in the United States and Puerto Rico. The Savings Card may not be used for mail order prescriptions.
Is there a help desk for patient inquiries?
Yes. Patients can call 1-866-203-3503 anytime for answers to questions about the Bayer Savings Card program.
Is there a help line for pharmacies with questions regarding pharmacy processing?
Yes. All pharmacy questions should be directed to 1-800-422-5604 between the hours of 8:30 AM and 11 PM EST Monday through Friday, and 8:30 AM and 9:30 PM Saturday and Sunday.
If a patient has insurance, but the prescription plan does not cover the product, can they still receive the insured offer?
No. In this case, if the insurance/prescription plan does not cover the product, then the patient CANNOT receive the insured offer. Instead, they can take advantage of the offer for patients without insurance.
Can the Bayer Savings Card be used with high deductible medical plans?
Yes. If a patient has a high deductible medical/prescription plan that covers the product, then the patient should show the pharmacist both the valid prescription as well as the Bayer Savings Card.
Can the Bayer Savings Card be used if the patient hasn't yet met their prescription plan deductible?
Yes. A high deductible medical/prescription plan that covers the specific Bayer product can be used with Bayer Savings Card even if the patient hasn't yet met the prescription plan deductible. The insurance card must be shown to the pharmacist along with the prescription and the Bayer Savings Card.
Can this offer be used for patients eligible to be reimbursed under Medicaid (including Medicaid managed care), Medicare/Medicare Part D, TRICARE, Veterans Affairs, FEHBP, or any other government-sponsored prescription drug benefit plans?
No. Patients who are eligible for coverage of a select Bayer product under any federal or state-sponsored programs cannot use this offer.
Can a patient have more than one active card?
No. Patients need only one card which can be used across select Bayer brands. If a second card is activated, the first will become void. Patients will need to present their new card at the pharmacy.
Can the Bayer Savings Card be given as a gift to someone?
No. The card has no cash value, is not transferable, and can ONLY be used with a valid prescription for select Bayer products.
Can the Bayer Savings Card be used by patients with an existing prescription?
Yes, the Bayer Savings Card can be used by patients with an existing prescription.
What happens if a patient loses their card?
If a patient loses their card, they can request a new card and the old card will become void. You can activate a new card by visiting BayerSavingsCard.com or calling 1-866-203-3503.
What happens if a patient switches to a different Bayer product?
If a patient switches to another product that is included in this offer, patients will not need to request a new card and can continue to take advantage of the Savings Card.
Is there an age restriction for the Bayer Savings Card program?
No. The offer is valid for all patients when accompanied by a valid prescription.
When does the Bayer Savings Card expire?
The savings card has no set expiration date. The program may be cancelled or changed at any time without notice.
How much does it cost to participate in the program?
There is no cost to participate in this program.
Can the Bayer Savings Card be used for office visit co-pays?
No. The card can only be used to help pay for out-of-pocket expenses at the pharmacy with a valid prescription for select Bayer products.
Can the Bayer Savings Card be used for other purchases?
No. The card can be used to pay only for out-of-pocket expenses at the pharmacy with a valid prescription for select Bayer products.
Is there a limit for how many times a patient can use the Bayer Savings Card?
There is no limit to the number of times a patient may use the Bayer Savings Card. The program may, however, be cancelled or changed at any time without notice.
When the card is used, will personal medical data remain confidential, or will patient names and addresses be placed on a mailing list?
All data will remain confidential in accordance with standards established under HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
What if the pharmacist recommends switching to another brand?
It's your choice to insist on the product that your healthcare provider prescribed for you. Before you leave the pharmacy, be sure to check your prescription bag to ensure that you received the product that was prescribed.
